This is possible because Grip goes beyond networking. It combines AI with billions of interactions happening across the platform with a powerful event management system, seamless registration and award-winning mobile event app so participants meet the right people at the right time.

🚀 Expectation of the role:

As a Customer Engagement & Concierge Specialist, your mission is simple: Get people talking. You will be the driving force behind platform adoption, working directly with event participants to ensure they are active, engaged, and—most importantly—booking meetings. This is a high-impact, proactive role that requires the persistence of a tele-sales professional and the clarity of a product expert.

Through high-volume outbound calls and live video demonstrations, you will guide users through the Grip ecosystem, ensuring they maximise the platform's networking capabilities well before the event doors open.

Note: This is a temporary, project-based role covering US shifts exclusively (9am-6pm EST) between March & April 2026. Candidates with a background in tele-sales, SDR roles, or outbound account management are highly preferred.

  1. Maximising Meeting Volume: Your primary KPI is the number of meetings scheduled between participants. You win when our users are booked solid with high-value appointments.

  2. Driving Platform Adoption: You will turn "passive registrants" into "active power users" by aggressively promoting the benefits of our mobile app and desktop platform.

  3. Expert Demonstrations: You’ll conduct rapid-fire, engaging video demos that flatten the learning curve and get users excited to start networking immediately.

  4. Converting Hesitation to Action: Using your sales flair, you will handle objections and motivate users to complete their profiles and start sending meeting invites.

Job requirements

🚀 Core Responsibilities:

  • Execute Outbound Engagement Campaigns: Proactively call and email event participants to drive login rates and app downloads.

  • Increase Pre-Event Networking: Actively facilitate and encourage the booking of meetings between participants through direct outreach and "concierge" matchmaking support.

  • Conduct High-Energy Demos: Deliver 1-on-1 and group video sessions that demonstrate the value of the Grip platform and mobile app.

  • Onboard at Scale: Implement onboarding programs that move hundreds of users from "registered" to "active" in short timeframes.

  • Technical Advocacy: Become a power user of the Grip toolset, guiding participants on best practices for profile optimization and AI-driven matchmaking.

  • Feedback Loop: Capture real-time user sentiment and hurdles during your calls to help the Product team refine the user journey.
