We are looking to create our SDR function in Serbia starting with hiring a full-time SDR Team Lead to work with our CRO to hire and build out the team but also drive lead generation and work together closely with sales, project management, product and engineer to grow revenue and client success.

Grip recently completed a $13M Series A funding round led by Kennet Partners, a well-known London-based VC Fund. Other investors at Grip include leading entrepreneurs Brent Hoberman (CEO and Founder at Lastminute.com, Made.com, Founders Factory), Arnaud Massenet (Co-Founder at Net-a-Porter), and Jeremy Roche (FinancialForce, Unit4).

🚀 About the position:

Compelling and driven, the Sales Development Representative Team Lead will be predominantly focused on new business alongside the Account Management and Sales teams supporting growth opportunities within prospect accounts . You will be responsible for generating strategic sales opportunities with our target customer segments.

The right candidate will be one who works well under pressure, thinks out-of-the-box, easily initiates relaxed but informative two-way phone conversations with clients and is highly self-motivated.

The right candidate will also understand how to assess a company’s needs and cater the outreach to each client specifically.



Job requirements

🚀 Core Responsibilities:

While there will be a mix of inbound and outbound sales activities, the primary focus of the role will be strategic outbound outreach. You should be comfortable prospecting and seeking new business opportunities across a number of channels. You will also be an experienced team leader/manager who can motivate and bring out the best in your team.


  • Prospect into strategic business accounts via cold call, email and social strategies

  • Follow-up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects

  • You will be confident representing Grip as a subject matter expert and evangelist for our brand

  • Identify key players, researching and obtaining business requirements, and presenting solutions to begin the sales cycle

  • Using marketing and sales insights, you will research and profile strategic accounts to build relationships with key stakeholders to begin the sales cycle

  • Initially become proficient at positioning and converting Grip leads into opportunities then look to build a team who you would be a player coach, then ultimately manage

  • Lead and coach the team and support as needed daily SDR responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and manage SDRs

  • Motivate SDRs to exceed goals through coaching and incentives

  • Ensure SDR team are leveraging tools and resources available to them while focusing on driving operational efficiencies

  • Nurture new marketing leads by educating and developing prospects

  • Drive attendance for webinars and live seminars, set meetings for events and conferences

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approach

  • Ensure successful follow-through of the sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM application

  • Represent the brand. As the voice of Grip, you’ll always provide an engaging, positive, vibrant and extraordinary sales experience


Things move pretty fast at Grip so, although your role will be focussed on generating new sales opportunities, you'll likely end up wearing quite a few hats and gaining experience across a variety responsibilities


🚀Experience and Skills


  • Familiarity with Salesforce, LinkedIn sales navigator and any other essential experience

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. You should be a great writer, speaker, and listener

  • A deep understanding of email communication. You keep the inbox at zero

  • An understanding of the events or event technology industry highly desired, experience promoting and selling SasS solutions an advantage.

  • Willingness to hop on a call with new people every single day and explain Grip's value proposition as it relates to each individual you speak with
