At Grip, hundreds of leading event organisers worldwide work with us as a partner in achieving their business goals to connect, inspire and engage their event participants.

The Grip platform is an exciting multi-faceted product with a complete SaaS dashboard for event organisers. The product also has a complete engagement platform for event participants across web and mobile which includes streaming, content, and networking which is underpinned by our award-winning AI-powered Matchmaking Engine.

Weโ€™re looking for a Field Marketing Manager, based in the US, to support go-to-market campaigns and materials to further establish Gripโ€™s market positioning to our prospects and customers.

This role will work within the marketing department, reporting to the Head of Marketing, but have strong links to the Sales and Client Success teams, as well as senior stakeholders.

This role will have ownership of a variety of campaigns from our own events, sponsored events, content creation and vertical or industry campaigns. The campaigns should drive awareness and demand for our platform and position our product as the best in the market.

Job requirements

๐Ÿš€ Core Responsibilities:

  • Drive marketing strategy and implementation to deliver pipeline coverage for the sales organisation.

  • Develop and implement a marketing plan to support revenue goals, including corporate alignment, alliance partner and directly-managed tactics, campaigns, events and activities to executive management and technical audiences.

  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Channel partner teams (BUSs), and Inside Sales to ensure market awareness and pipeline opportunity.

  • Manage a regional marketing dashboard that tracks effectiveness / impact of marketing spend on pipeline.

  • Provides leadership on field requirements for integration in corporate-run marketing programs

  • Ensure feedback from sales to go-to-market organisations to deliver close alignment between regional marketing investment and sales requirements.

  • Deliver a marketing plan of record to ensure alignment with corporate and partner programs as appropriate.

  • Experience in field events, partner activities, tradeshows and all key regional-based marketing activities

  • Able to clearly articulate and deliver on program goals, strategy and execution elements to multiple audiences

  • Strong team player with a positive attitude

  • Excellent communications, organisational and interpersonal skills, strong analytical ability

  • High energy, enthusiasm, initiative, and preparedness

  • Comfort and experience with being the go-to marketing resource in the field, managing in a matrixed environment

  • A marketing or business studies degree is desired.

  • 5-6 years of marketing experience is required.
